"RUET team represents Bangladesh on the global stage — best wishes from the university community."

The innovative student team of Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology (RUET), 'Team Crack Platoon', is currently in Japan. They are participating as the sole representative from South Asia in the upcoming 'Formula SAE Japan 2025' competition. The prestigious event will be held at 'Aichi Sky Expo', Japan, from September 8 to 13.

This year, the team is competing with their latest project, 'CP–Astrion,' an advanced formula-style vehicle featuring state-of-the-art battery technology, a lightweight composite body, and aerodynamic wings. The car has already been validated against international standards, and notably, Tesla has directly sponsored its battery technology.

Meanwhile, RUET Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. S M Abdur Razzak extended his best wishes to the team. In a statement, he said, 'RUET has always encouraged innovation and research. In continuation of this spirit, our students are leaving their mark not only in the country but also on the global stage. RUET is proud to send ‘Team Crack Platoon’ to the international arena. Their creativity and technological innovations will contribute to the advancement of human civilization and bring honor not only to RUET but also to Bangladesh.'

It is worth mentioning that RUET’s student team previously made its mark in several international competitions, including the Quad Bike Challenge (2016), Formula SAE Japan (2017 & 2019), Formula SAE Switzerland (2023), and Formula Bharat (2024).
